Question: Apparently even a slight knock or even tapping of the head causes a loss of brain cells. If so, then around what percentage of IQ or Mass of brain cells is lost from heading a football?
I’ll answer this properly in a little while – I am watching the England game at the moment (it’s 0-0 with Algeria), I am desperately hoping that Rooney will not worry too much about his IQ when the next cross comes over!
There are have been some suggestions of real risks – really more for professional footballers who play day in day out for a who career. This web page http://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/soccer.html explains all. Some of the science is not settled. I saw I paper in the British Medical Journal which suggested that the problems are linked to head-to-head clashes.
Notice the word *had*, due to despite my helpful question posing this problem, rooney most likely having already gone out and exchanged his limited brain power with exsessive amounts of alcohol. Anyway what do i care im Scottish.

I would still recommend a header in the England game.

Obviously they read the article above. It finished 0-0 and not many headers.

Yes thats probably why. The English population should be grateful that I managed to spare what IQ Rooney had left.
