I am delighted as you can see here, but I am also worried that I won’t be able to catch Stephen up. 🙂

I really want to get the chance to run my Scan Your Teacher day, and I am hoping that some of the students (and teachers) from the Imaging Zone will be part of it too!

I am absolutely delighted, Giuola, to have made it this far in the competition. My goal at the beginning was just to avoid being evicted on the first day so I am really thrilled to still be here on the last day.

It’s going to be quite nerve-wracking but win or lose I think I have already won an important prize by having the chance to talk and chat with so many wonderful, excited and interested students.

Of course I would love to win overall in this zone (every bit as much as Tom!) but the most wonderful prize would be to hear that some of the students involved had been turned on to science by participating in the competition.

I really hope that you have enjoyed it — I know all the scientists have had intensely good fun! — and that you feel it has been worthwhile.

One of the more difficult aspects for us is knowing whether the answers we have posted online here have been at the right level for the students. It’s been great to get some comments back from you guys for some questions.

But do you think there are ways in which we could get the students to make more comments? That way you could have a deeper conversation than during the live-chats. The live-chats have been insanely great fun (I’m really going to miss the Qs and the banter!) – but they are a bit too quick to have a long conversation about science.

If you have the chance to discuss this with your friends, we’d love to hear what you think. Seriously.

      Thanks,

      Stephen
