I think in principle you *could* be – we can do it for sheep, mice, monkeys etc i think even cats and dogs (cloned pets!?). So the technology is there but there’s no way human cloning is allowed at the present time. It would have the same genetic makeup as you so would look like you and have similar traits to you, but doesn’t mean it’d be the same as you – depends on how it has been effected by external factors (such as upbringing). It’s a really interesting debate

It would be like your identical twin, and it would depend to some extent on how similarly you were brought up. If brought up in very similar environments, you’d be very similar. If you know any identical twins (and they’re helpful), you can find out. What experiment could you do?

Your clone (you wouldn’t use the word ‘it’) would look very like you unless they had a different haircut, tattoos etc. They might have scars, or be bigger/smaller if they had a different environment in the womb or when growing up.

Yes you probably could be cloned. The resulting person would look identical to you (assuming he or she grew up with a similar diet and lifestyle).

They might well have some similar behavioural habits (this is often seen in identical twins who were separated at birth) but they would still be a different person. They would also be younger than you – there’s no way for them to catch up in time. So you could end up being a bit jealous!
