Question: do colgate whitener actually whiten your teeth, if so how>?

I’m really not sure about this. I think it contains chemicals that lighten your teeth by bleaching them. I suspect they are not very effective since I have seen teeth-whitening advertised at the dentists for a lot more money than the cost of a few tubes of toothpaste…!
