      Dead bodies have been known to explode – due to a build up of gases from the decaying matter. If you search YouTube there is a rather horrible video of a dead whale on a beach exploding – much to the surprise of the cameraman!

      Living people don’t explode – not without explosives at any rate (a very sad modern phenomenon).

      I’ve heard that dead bodies can explode when they are decomposing, if they get full of gases….yuck…don’t know if it’s true though!

      I think I’ve read about people spontaneously bursting into flames but I don’t think people can just go bang for no reason.
