• Question: Do you respect my culture of Islam?

      I’m no longer religious myself (though was raised as a Catholic in Northern Ireland). I have respect for all religious beliefs that share a respect for reason and human rights – and would include Islam and all the world’s major religions in that category.

      Yeah of course I do! I respect all people’s cultures. I’m not crazy about your chat name though!

      You’ll often find that scientists are very open minded and open to new ideas, but scientist or not, i love meeting people with different backgrounds and beliefs to me.

      Yes, osama, and I think it is important that cultures learn to co-exist peacefully even when they don’t respect one another.
