• Question: If u die in your dream are u actually dead in realilty???

      I don’t think there’s any reason to think that. In fact, I think I died in a dream once, and I’m still alive. To test it we really would need to know what someone had dreamed about so it would be tricky. I guess it’s hard to know if you’re dead in a dream (or in real “life”) for that matter – what would it feel like? No one knows, because no one has ever come back from the dead – although someone on Radio 4 this morning was describing being resusitated after having no heartbeat or breathing for I think 15 minutes.

      oh my god I hope not because I dreamt that I died last night!
      My mum reckons it means you’re pregnant…

      I don’t believe this can happen.

      However, some people have killed other people in real life because they dreamed they were fighting someone. There was one case of a man who had fought in world war II. A few years after the war, he dreamt that he was fighting a japanese soldier and when he woke up he discovered, to his enormous distress, that he had strangled his beloved wife.

      He was put on trial for murder but was acquitted.

      I guess there’s no answer to this because if you did die in your dream and also in reality then you’d be dead and so you wouldn’t know anything about your dream in the first place 🙂
      No, hang on, that means that IF you dream that you have died but you can remember this then you’re not dead. Sooooo that means the answer to your question is no…..I think!
