• Question: is your work interesting when working with neutrons

      Hi Lily – I like working with neutrons, partly because they are like big toys for big boys. I did my first experiment as a student many years ago and just thought wow! I still feel that now.The best places to do research are at ISIS near Oxford and the ILL in France – you can find links for these places on my profile or just google them. They are MASSIVE and the machines there are state of the art. It always seems interesting to me that to look at the smallest things (atoms, cells etc) like I do, you need really big bits of kit. I love it!
