• Question: What do you like to do in your free time?

      I’m getting really old and boring…this is what I like doing….
      I have a beautiful garden growing lots of fantastic vegetables and flowers, which brings me back down to earth when I feel grumpy
      I play in a ukulele band
      I love to watch football, and occasionally play it
      I listen to all sorts of music from GaGa to WaGna
      and I like to walk, sail and drink posh wine.

      Hi Sooph,

      I like to spend time with my family – I have two daughters 7 and 9 years old, and I really enjoy talking to them, reading with them (we’re reading The Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy at the moment). My main hobby is music. I love to sing and I also enjoy recording music on my computer, though it takes a long time (I’m not very good but I am also a bit of a perfectionist). I like to play Singstar and Beatles Rockband. I like listening to music, and I have a big mp3 collection. I mess around with computers and I get lots of new programs and gadgets. I enjoy cooking. I like to have friends around for a meal. I love a barbeque. I like watching Dr Who, and Wallander on TV. I used to follow football quite closely but I have completely lost touch in the last few years – I am still getting a bit excited about the World Cup, though.

      Oh my god since I had a baby I don’t get any free time anymore! all my time is spent with her, playing and singing and sliding and swimming and changing and wiping and bathing and talking (she is 1).

      Apart from that and in my previous life, i love swimming, cycling, singing in a choir and disco dancing!

      In my spare time I like to walk in the hills and I like to go out to eat. I’m from Liverpool and support Liverpool FC – apparently there is another team from the city that plays in blue?
      When I have time off my wife and I like to travel. We are both very interested in wildlife and so we tend to spend our holidays going to another country to try and see one particular animal. Out last holiday was to Costa Rica where we hoped to see Leatherback Turtles and Hummingbirds – but not at the same time! We were lucky enough to sit with a Leatherback Turtle one night whilst she dug a nest on the beach and laid her eggs – magic. We also saw loads of hummingbirds on the trip.

      I enjoy spending time with my kids, a boy and two girls – all now teenagers (or nearly). I took a set off my son at tennis yesterday – first time ever! Plus I love cinema, comedy (live shows), reading, photography and making videos (home vids and some work ones).

      Oh yeah – and I got a telescope last Xmas so I have become a bit of a star-gazer – which I have enjoyed immensely. Here’s a picture I took of the moon recently: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sc63/4628484273/
