      There have been a lot of ginger based questions today! I don’t think you can generalise this much!!

      I really don’t know – I just know that they do. It must be something to do with the receptor molecules that are involved in sensing pain (or the pathways that they use to communicate with the brain).

      At least it is now established. This helps doctors to give the rise doses of pain-killers or anaesthetics to we poor gingers!
